About
My professional career has always revolved around aviation. Having trained as a commercial pilot and instructed in some of the world’s busiest airspace, I have seen the significance of positive mental health and how dramatic an effect it can have on our well-being in any workplace. Through my roles as an aircraft incident investigator, peer support volunteer and trainer, I have seen the importance of nurturing human connections and living in the present.
As a mental health trainer, I use examples from my personal experiences to help teach the skills to keep someone safe until professional help arrives. In our constantly changing work environments, these essential tools can prove invaluable when supporting ourselves and others. I am also qualified as a Suicide First Aid instructor and am passionate about showing people that there is always hope.
